Sausalito

In development

Sausalito is a photographic portrait of a place shaped by water, music, and the people drawn to its edge.

For generations, artists, sailors, musicians, wanderers, and outsiders have found something here—a life suspended somewhere between land and sea, refinement and rebellion, permanence and escape.

Bringing together archival and contemporary photography, the project searches for the visual current that remains as Sausalito changes. Not a history of the town, but a portrait of its mythology—romantic, weathered, and a little unruly.

A photography book in development—a portrait of Sausalito as it was, as it is, and as it continues to reinvent itself.

A conversation across time
